Periodically scans and displays the locations registered in the camera presets.
Event Detection Recording
This software can detect and record Motion/Alarm/Sensor/Sound/Shock events.*2
A pop-up is displayed when detection is made (→ Pop-up display)
A pop-up is displayed when the system detects motion or other events.
The start and finish times of color night view can be registered in the schedule.
Multiple Language Support
The default languages are English, German, Italian, Spanish, and Japanese. (2013/2 present)
Camera connection status notification by E-mail (→ Setting camera disconnection detection notifications)
The camera's connection status can be sent by E-mail to specified E-mail addresses in cases such as when the camera and PC become disconnected due to network problems.
Event detection notification by E-mail (→ 1.5.3 Setting E-mail notification)
Event detection (Motion Detection, Alarm Detection, Sensor Detection, Sound Detection, and Shock Detection) notifications can be sent by E-mail to specified E-mail addresses.
Network Video Encoder support (→ With [Add])
Network video encoder images can be recorded and played.

From the server manager feature displayed in [Start]-[Control Panel]-[Programs and Features]-[Turn Windows features on or off], click [Add Features], select [Desktop Experience], and install Windows Media Player.

When using a camera that supports audio.
Note
When Windows Update is set to perform updates automatically, recording may be interrupted during updates. Therefore, we recommend that updates are performed manually during times that will not affect recording.
Notice
The recommended number of cameras that you can register, monitor and record simultaneously differs depending on the specifications of your computer. See 5.1 Specifications for details.
You can estimate recorded image capacity according to the recording method and the number of recording days. Using [Record Size (estimate)] (→ Setting the image data information) and the file sizes of recorded images (→ File sizes of recorded images) as guidelines, estimate the hard disk capacity requirement.
When returning from the power saving mode or the screen saver, this software may not function correctly. Power saving mode is prevented from operating when this software is being used. Also, do not use the screen saver when using this software. The settings for the screen saver can configured from the [Preferences] → [Basic Settings] screen (→ 1.5.1 Setting a Folder to Save Recorded Images).
Certain security software use a lot of TEMP files located in the C drive, which may cause this software to not function correctly.
Internet connections
When you are setting up the camera over an Internet connection or using remote access, we recommend using a connection method that provides fast uploading and downloading speeds, such as FTTH (optical fiber).
